Our Story

Where Solmera began

Solmera was founded in Kuala Lumpur in 2016 by a small group of advisors who had spent years inside large organisations watching good ideas get delayed, diluted, or derailed — not from lack of effort, but from lack of clear thinking at critical moments.

We set out to build a practice that would provide the kind of structured, evidence-based thinking that larger consultancies apply to enterprise clients, but designed for the scale and pace of Malaysian businesses — from growth-stage founders to regional subsidiaries navigating the local market.

Eight years on, we remain a focused boutique. We do not grow for the sake of it. Every engagement is handled by experienced advisors, not delegated to junior staff with templates.
